Food Adventures in Malaysia: Day 13, Langs Cave in Gunung Mulu National Park
Posted under: Words can not even explain Langs Cave. Truly awe inspiring with its colors, formations, crystal clear pools…..truly a once in a lifetime experience that I’m so lucky to have had. Our guide was great and let us stay longer than we were supposed to, which gave me a chance to take it all in and get some great pictures. No tasty treats to speak of, but one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.

Borneo Cave Worms Picture
The little white strands in this picture are actually strands of saliva/mucus from cave worms. The worms drop these “spit” lines to snare insects that fly through the cave. Mmm….dinner. These are similar to the worms that were shown on Planet Earth – Caves.

Jothan, I knew Frank and Rishell in Wauconda and I am still in contact with her on Facebook-although I am currently taking a break from it-too much info. Anyway, she has mentioned your blog several times and I have glanced at it a few time. I read a few of your entries about your life changing trip to Malaysia and it was pure pleasure to hear someone describe some of the awesomeness of the rest of the world and other cultures.
