Browsing "Travel"

Iam a not a seasoned world traveler, nor am I an expert on the histories, politics, or intricacies of world cultures, religions, or agriculture. What I am, though, is a lover of food. A self proclaimed gourmet that is passionate about experiencing cultures and connecting with people through the food that they love. A man that has dedicated much of my free time learning about regional ingredients, flavor combinations, cooking methods and techniques, and practicing making them in my own kitchen.

This has resulted in a questionably valuable skill of identifying ingredients, herbs and spices, and the way a dish was prepared. In an effort to challenge this skill set, I set out for palette onslaughts of glory to foodie destinations throughout the world as budget and time permits. Read about these adventures here:
